Game may hang temporarily at some spots, idk how to pre-render shaders on here.
Game also supports controller, A is Jump, Y is Objective.

Celia is BACK and better than ever! Faster, stronger, a double jump???
Help your friends find their missing items in this exploration platformer!

I initially was gonna do the compo, but I wanted the 72 hour time limit instead of the 48 hour limit. Everything is from scratch* though.

*scratch meaning that i didn't make the game engine, art software, or audio software i used

hey all, devlog here
this is a game i made for ludum dare 53, my first ludum dare!
when i saw the theme was "delivery", all i could think of was a sequel of some sort to my previous jam game, 3 Second Delivery

i've had the idea of a "platformer where you delivery things" kickin' around in my head, like you would walk up to someone and they would say "can you deliver this letter to jim?" and then you take the letter to jim and hand it to him, rinse and repeat.

that was the general idea i had for this game, i forwent making any kind of detailed plan because i forgor 💀

i wanted to make a kinda medieval/fantasy village, but my art skills in the whole "buildings" department is still lacking, and i couldn't get anything i was happy with.

the next day, i'm not sure what triggered the idea but i just randomly thought "Delivery Dreams", its a good alliterative title i think, and more importantly, it brought a theme to my game.

since the game would be about dreams, i took a lot of cues from yume nikki- at least in the graphics and sound departments, heck, the cube world is almost exactly how i remember it being in yume nikki.

in the end, im kinda bummed i couldnt add more content, and i feel like its kinda a mishmash of ideas and themes, it also feels like i bit off a lot more than i could chew in 72 hours, but it is what it is

might come back to this in the future, but thats a very big might
